Welcome to The Histochemical Society!

The HCS Mission Statement

The Histochemical Society is an organization of scientists sharing a passion for the development and use of visual techniques that provide biochemical and molecular information about the structure and function of cells, tissues and organs and for the dissemination of this knowledge through education and outreach.

The Society fulfills its mission through publishing its Journal, the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, and through the management of annual meetings and short courses.  We invite you to explore our website, journal, newsletters, awards programs and course offerings.  Email us with any questions or to receive additional information about our society.

The Benefits of Membership

HCS members are a part of a community of professionals with shared interests in immunohistochemistry and cytochemistry. Members forge lasting friendships and collaborations in science.  Membership provides access to HCS newsletters, membership directory, and JHC discounts.  Membership also provides opportunities for short courses, a robust awards program and meeting discounts.Join this interactive collaborative group today!
