About The Histochemical Society

An international society founded in 1950 by scientists passionate about the expansion of histochemical and cytochemical knowledge, The Histochemical Society continues publishing the leading journal in the field, the Journal of Histochemistry & Cytochemistry. The Society also funds the organization of scientific meetings and short courses, and offers the mentoring and promotion of a diverse group of scientists entering the discipline.
